Full Time & Part Time Early Years Educator – Grovelands Childcare, Mullingar

Job description

We are currently recruiting for Full and Part Time Early Years Educators for Grovelands, Marketpoint, Mullingar

The successful candidate must be available to work Monday – Friday between the hours of 10.30am-3pm working 22.5 hours per week for the part time position and 39 hours per week for full time.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To ensure a safe, secure and healthy environment for the health, welfare and development of the children.
  • Actively engage the children in developmentally appropriate learning activities through the Aistear curriculum to facilitate the potential development of each child.
  • Observe and record children’s progress.
  • To communicate effectively with children, families and staff alike.
  • Meet established policies and procedures, creating an environment of best practice.

 

The successful candidate must have:

  • A sincere and genuine love for children.
  • Childcare Qualification as listed on the DCEDIY recognised Childcare Qualifications to minimum Level 5 from a recognised body though Level 7+ would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of TUSLA requirements and 2016 regulation.
  • Minimum 1 year paid working experience in a childcare setting.
  • Knowledge of working with Siolta and Aistear.
  • First Aid, Manual Handling and Food Safety Certified an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be available to work 39 hours per week.
  • Sponsorship not provided, must be eligible to work in Ireland.

Teller/Customer Service – St. Brigid’s Credit Union

Full time permanent position (with 6 months probationary period). Five days per week (Tuesday to Saturday)

Summary of Role:

  • The successful candidate will be accountable to the Operations Officer of the Credit Union for carrying out administrative and operational activities that contribute to the effective running of the Credit Union.
  • The successful candidate will also be required to work in any of our branches in Clara, Moate, Ferbane or Banagher. Therefore, own transport and full, clean driving licence is essential.

Key knowledge, skills and experience required include:

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent is essential
  • Relevant experience working in a Credit Union, financial institution or customer service role.
  • Strong inter-personnel and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Word and Excel.
  • Have an aptitude for numbers, handling & balancing cash.

Experience using a Computer Operating System and a qualification that satisfies Minimum Competency Code Requirements (MCC) would be a distinct advantage or being prepared to study for same would be essential.

Full training will be provided.

Part Time Early Years Educator – AIM Support – Grovelands Childcare

Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Part Time AIM Support for Grovelands Childcare, Tullamore.
The successful candidate must be available to work 15 hours per week Monday – Friday for our ECCE session. This position is a part time, term time position but flexibility regarding hours is expected. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To ensure a safe, secure and healthy environment for the health, welfare and development of the children.
  • Support a child/children with greater needs.
  • Actively engage the children in developmentally appropriate learning activities through the Aistear curriculum to facilitate the potential development of each child.
  • Observe and record children’s progress.
  • To communicate effectively with children, families and staff alike.
  • Meet established policies and procedures, creating an environment of best practice.

 

The successful candidate must have:

  • A sincere and genuine love for children.
  • Minimum Level 5 Childcare Qualifications (major award) as recognised by DCEDIY list.
  • Knowledge of TUSLA requirements and 2016 regulation.
  • Minimum 1 year paid working experience in a childcare setting.
