AIMS
The aim of the course is to provide students with the necessary skills to think imaginatively and bring their ideas to life through a creative and artistic approach. It is designed to afford students the opportunity to become familiar with the various fields of journalism, digital photography, games studies and digital image design.
Students will attend work placement on a block basis. One of the great benefits of work placement is that it can lead to a full-time job. Work placement is arranged within the relevant sector.
Successful candidates will acquire a broad range of skills, which will qualify them to either progress to higher education or to work in a range of digital media industries.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Leaving Certificate Standard or QQI Level 4
- English language requirement of a B2.2 standard where English is not your first language
- Basic I.T. Skills required
All mature students (23+) without these qualifications are welcome to apply
